Because of the wide range of climatic zones and production conditions that South Africa offers, we are able to expand our seed production across a wide area, mainly focused on the Western, Eastern, and Northern Cape. This creates the opportunity to produce a wide range of crops and varieties with different requirements.

Our seed growers are among the best in the world, each specializing in specific seed crops. These farmers deliver seed efficiently and consistently, serving as the first link in our production process to provide seed of the highest quality to our international clients. Over the years, our selected group of seed growers has grown and continues to share in the benefits of our production supply chain.

Klein Karoo Seed Production makes use of six SGASA-accredited nurseries throughout the different production areas. Regular inspections by KKSP’s crop specialists, together with excellent nursery management, are key factors in seedling success. Each nursery takes care of every seed lot and aims to produce quality seedlings for the seed supply chain.
